• Robust credential and password security. In wireless networks, Living Systems EAP Toolkit provides essential security by encapsulating user credentials in a secure wrapper to prevent common attacks.
  
• Support for the leading EAP types. Living Systems EAP Toolkit unlocks all the benefits of EAP, such as secure credential exchange using Transport Layer Security (TLS) for cryptography and data privacy. It supports the following EAP types out-of-the-box: EAP-TLS, EAP-PEAP, EAP-SIM, EAP-LEAP (Windows XP only), EAP-FAST, EAP-AKA. Support for other EAP types can be made available upon demand.
  
• Advanced encryption through standard protocols. Data privacy in wireless sessions needs to be safeguarded against unauthorized interceptions. Living Systems EAP Toolkit prevents eavesdropping through the use of session keys, using the widely used Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) and WPA2 encryption standards with TKIP and AES.
  
• Wireless Internet service roaming with WISPr. To provide mobile subscribers with transparent roaming between multiple networks and operators, Living Systems EAP Toolkit supports the WISPr protocol. Smart connection managers can use Living Systems EAP Toolkit's WISPr capabilities to seamlessly login to hotspots without the need for the user to interact with login forms.
  
• One toolkit for wired and wireless networks. Living Systems EAP Toolkit works across all endpoint devices for rapid deployment of secure Wi-Fi and wired 802.1X access to all users. The toolkit can communicate with any 802.1X-compatible RADIUS server and accommodates multiple network adapters in parallel.
