Whitestein Technologies Releases Free Agent Modeling Tool

Whitestein Technologies today announced the free public availability of the AML Profile for StarUML™, a free agent-based modeling tool for Whitestein's own Agent Modeling Language (AML) .

The AML Profile for StarUML is an implementation of the UML 2.0 Profile for AML in the open-source CASE tool StarUML. Exploiting the extensibility features of StarUML, this profile supports the production of AML models for the analysis and design disciplines of software application development, especially where applications draw on multi-agent systems theory and engineering practice.

The Profile implements all features of the current version of AML (v0.9), which offers support for: multiagent system entities, ontologies, social aspects, behavior abstraction and decomposition, communicative interactions, services, observations and effecting interactions, mental aspects, deployment, and mobility.
