Whitestein Technologies Enhances LS/CA to Support ExpressCard Data Cards

The Living Systems Connection Agent, Whitestein Technologies' award-winning client solution for seamless mobility, has been enhanced with support for ExpressCard data cards.

ExpressCard technology is smaller, faster, and more power-efficient than conventional PC cards and thus the new format of choice for manufacturers of portable devices.

The updated version of LS/CA is available as of today, with Swisscom Mobile being the first customer to ship this improved version of Whitestein Technologies' seamless mobility solution to its users. Due to the enhancement, Swisscom Mobile is also capable of doubling the speed of clients' HSDPA network access to 3.6 MBit/s. (See Swisscom Mobile's announcement.)
