Seamless Mobility Client LS/CA Now Supports 3G USB Modems

Whitestein Technologies' client software for seamless mobility, Living Systems Connection Agent (LS/CA), now includes support for 3G USB stick modems, allowing operators to market wireless data services to new customer segments with a different form factor.

This latest release of LS/CA enables USB sticks to use and seamlessly transition between the latest mobile technologies (HSPA, UMTS, EDGE, GPRS and PWLAN). LS/CA already supports a wide range of PC and Express cards and built-in WWAN modules from a number of manufacturers.

Leading mobile carrier Swisscom will be shipping the next edition of its "Unlimited Data Manager (UDM)" mobility client based on this latest LS/CA version.
