Mobile Unlimited Receives Prestigious Awards

Swisscom's "Mobile Unlimited" product , which is based on Whitestein's innovative Living Systems Connection Agent, received two prestigious awards:

• GSMA Award 2005 for the best mobile business application. On 15 February the GSM Association, the world’s most important association in the mobile communications sector, presented the award during its GSM World Congress in Cannes. The product was judged as "the world’s first service offering seamless mobility across an operator’s GPRS/3GSM and WLAN networks. (...) A huge step towards telecoms and IT convergence is achieved as Mobile Unlimited integrates mobile, Ethernet and virtual private network adapters/clients in one software solution."

The award is granted annually by Cisco Systems and IDG Global Solutions for innovative products in the networking domain – to quote the judging panel: "...an overwhelming winner and an application of mobile technology that is delivering great customer benefits."
