Major Release of Seamless Mobility Client LS/CA

This latest major release of the Living Systems Connection Agent (LS/CA) marks another milestone for the company's successful efforts to provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 mobile network operators with the most powerful, easy-to-deploy and easy-to-maintain mobile client solution for seamless handover between cellular and WLAN connections.

Under the hood, LS/CA now includes support for over 20 PC and Express cards, embedded WWAN modules, and USB stick modems from five leading global device manufacturers. This allows operators to provide an attractive mobility solution to a wide range of consumers and enterprise customers. LS/CA fully supports EAP-SIM WLAN authentication for automatic hotspot login and seamless handover between 2.5G/3G/3.5G and wireless LANs. The product's general support for NDIS-based interfacing with WWAN cards further ensures higher throughput and reliability than RAS-based solutions.

On the surface, the new version of LS/CA offers a completely overhauled GUI based on a state-of-the-art customization framework. This gives operators full control over the look and feel of the client application in order to maximize the branding potential and customer experience.

This latest release also delivers an advanced connection designer for the creation of location and network-aware application profiles including connection priorities, VPN configurations, and other client settings.
