Living Systems Process Suite Acknowledged for Native BPMN 1.1 Support
The Living Systems Process Suite, Whitestein Technologies' next-generation Business Process Management (BPM) suite, has been added by the Object Management Group (OMG) to its list of current implementations of its industry standard BPMN.
The full list of BPMN supporters is posted at BPMN.org.
The OMG's Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) is a standardized graphical notation for drawing business processes that are readily understandable by all business stakeholders. The current adopted version is BPMN 1.1
Previous releases of the Living Systems Process Suite had already included support for BPMN 1.0 activities, flows and events. The newly released version 1.3 of the suite extends its native support to BPMN 1.1, and includes looping, multi-instance and transactional sub-processes, as well as timer, condition, error, cancel, and throw/catch signal intermediate events.
Whitestein's long-term commitment to BPMN support ensures that users of the Living Systems Process Suite can profit from the widespread adoption of the standard, its comprehensive modeling features, and publicly available information and training material. The Process Suite's capability to directly execute BPMN models ensures that the same BPMN representation of activities is kept throughout the business process life cycle, from modeling to execution to auditing and monitoring.
