Living Systems Technology Suite Release 2.0 Available

Whitestein Technologies is proud to present a new major release of its advanced development and run-time environment for systems and applications based on software agent technology and autonomic computing, the Living Systems Technology Suite, Release 2.0 (LS/TS 2.0).

This new release provides task-oriented and goal-oriented (BDI) execution engines, an extended security and user management, as well as a new, versatile persistency service.

In the methodology section, the comprehensive development process ADEM (Agent-oriented Development Methodology) complements the UML-based Agent Modelling Language (AML) .

LS/TS Release 2.0 also has many improvements "under the hood," further strengthening the Java-based, industry-grade foundation that enables to develop and operate highly demanding and mission-critical applications and systems, such as resource control, fail-safety, clustering and federation, transactions, and integration with existing IT-infrastructures. LS/TS Release 2.0 is available as Development Suite and Run-time Suite in three Editions for J2SE and J2EE environments.
