Whitestein Technologies is an active member of a number of high-profile international industry committees, standards bodies and research communities.


ProSTEP iViP Association

ProSTEP iViP Association

ProSTEP iViP provides its approximately 200 members with a platform upon which they can work together to shape communication in product development with the ultimate aim of facilitating successful collaboration in the manufacturing industry.

Whitestein Technologies is a member of the ProSTEP iViP association.



FIPA

Foundation for Intelligent Physical Agents (FIPA)

FIPA is the IEEE Computer Society standards organization promoting software agent-based technology and the interoperability of its standards with other technologies.

Whitestein Technologies holds a co-chair position in the Agent and Web Service Interoperability (AWSI) working group created to explore the interaction of FIPA compliant agent systems and Web services.



Autonomic Communication Forum

Autonomic Communication Forum (ACF)

The ACF's goal is to lead the creation of a unified set of standards for autonomic computing, communications, and systems management. Other major industry champions in the ACF include Motorola, IBM, Intel, HP, Hitachi, Telefonica and France Telecom, as well as leading research bodies such as the Fraunhofer FOKUS Institute and various universities worldwide.

Whitestein Technologies is represented on the Board of Directors of the ACF and is co-chairing the committee that coordinates the Forum's activities with other Standards Development Organizations and governmental agencies.



TM Forum

TM Forum

The TM Forum is an industry association focused on transforming business processes, operations and systems for managing and monetizing on-line Information, Communications and Entertainment services. It brings together the brightest technical minds from Vendors, Service Providers and Systems integrator who focus their skills on how best to automate the key end-to-end processes along with the underlying systems and software to enable seamless management across the service delivery chain.

Whitestein Technologies is a member of the TM Forum.



IAAS

IARIA Autonomic and Autonomous Systems working group (IAAS)

The IAAS is a nascent working group mandated with producing a manifesto exploring the developing relationship between autonomic and autonomous systems.

Whitestein Technologies currently holds the chair.
