Job description
As Product Manager, you will define the marketing strategy of our supply chain solutions, specify the product requirements and guide a development team by establishing and keeping close contact with customers, prospects and partners and "translating" the market demand into developer language.
You will build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience. You are involved through all stages of the product family's lifecycle. You are responsible for defining market requirements and packaging the features into product releases. The position involves close interaction with development leads, product architects, and key customers.
A strong technical background is required. Job duties include gathering requirements from prospects, evaluators and customers, writing marketing and technical requirements documents, and monitoring the implementation of a product project. Through your past experience you have a deep understanding of SAP software, know how to integrate with SAP products and how to enhance existing solutions using dynamic supply chain collaboration.
You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand their problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market. You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering.

Education: You should hold a degree in Computer Science or Engineering, ideally in or related to one or more of the fields supply chain management, logistics, optimisation/OR and distributed computing.
Knowledge: You must have a broad knowledge of supply chain challenges and solutions especially related to SAP. It is essential that you understand the market demand in the area of SCM and are able to describe it from the business and technical point of view. You should also be familiar with the following fields and have a depth of knowledge in at least a selection of them:
Experience: 5+ years of software marketing and product management experience. Ideally you learned the needs of the industry as part of a supply chain management team. You should also have experience in:
