LS/ASN – Living Systems® Adaptive Supply Networks

LS/ASN provides a dynamic solution for distributed stock management of products and spare parts in a volatile business environment. The combination of flexible part matching, automatic availability checking, and smart bundling speeds up the transactions and information flow within your supply network and saves money.

arrowFeatures and benefits of LS/ASN

Customer orders rarely refer to one single product, but usually affect several products of the range. Orders need to be scheduled and produced in different production and storage sites and, finally, brought together for delivery. This involves external suppliers and service providers with different and non-integrated IT systems.

In order to uphold high standards in quality, timeliness and efficiency in day-to-day operation, many unexpected disruptions such as delayed delivery or bottlenecks in production and distribution need to be mastered ad-hoc within such heavily interconnected supply networks.

LS/ASN is Whitestein Technologies’ prototype solution for manufacturers (production, assembly) and OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) that rely on complex supply chain networks of internal and external suppliers to timely fulfill their customer orders.

Real-time monitoring, dynamic optimization and smart control

LS/ASN monitors and promptly and dynamically manages real-time plan variances to optimize the timely and efficient implementation of every single customer order within such dynamic and complex environments.

Features and benefits of LS/ASN

  • Automates processes within the supply network in accordance with customizable goal specifications (e.g., speed, service level, quality)
  • Identifies order-related bottlenecks and generates solution alternatives through improved monitoring and optimization algorithms
  • Proactively pursues the best solution alternative with goal-oriented autonomous software agents
  • Handles, controls and optimizes the traffic between the OEM's own depots and to suppliers and customers, by autonomously combining deliveries, thus reducing delivery costs
  • Supports the communication between geographically and infrastructurally disconnected suppliers and customers
  • Increases visibility throughout the supply chain for operators, administrators and mangement
  • Flexibly and tightly integrates integration into existing ERP systems supports focus on the coordination of bottlenecks

LS/ASN is in conceptual stage and being developed to be able to demonstrate the optimization capabilities and cost saving potential. We are looking for pilot customers to further develop the solution. Please contact us if you are interested in an evaluation.
