Urs-Peter Oehen, Chairman & CEO
Urs-Peter Oehen has served as Member of the Board of Directors of Whitestein Technologies since 2002, as its Chairman since 2007, and as its CEO since 2008. Urs is also the Founder, Chairman & CEO of Expersoft Systems AG, a leading provider of innovative software solutions for portfolio, asset, and wealth management. Besides his engagement on the Board of Whitestein Technologies, he is Member of the Board of Directors of various other companies.
Dominic Greenwood, PhD, Chief Operating Officer
Dominic Greenwood joined Whitestein Technologies in 2003. From 2000 through 2003, Dominic was a Member of Research Staff in the Network Agent Research group of Fujitsu Laboratories of America, Inc., based in Sunnyvale, California. In this position he was involved in several key software agent-related research and technology to business transfer activities, including the development of international standards. Prior to that, Dominic was with Fujitsu Telecommunications Europe Ltd. in the role of Senior Research/Development Engineer with responsibility for all distributed network management product innovation and research activities.
Dominic holds a Ph.D. in Communications Systems from Staffordshire University, United Kingdom.
Patrick Brunschwig, VP Logistics & Control Systems
Patrick Brunschwig joined Whitestein Technologies in 2001. From 2001 through 2008, Patrick first served in the role of Project Manager in the logistics and telecom area, then as Senior Project Manager and Product Manager for Whitestein's LS/ATN offering. He took responsibility for all of the company's Logistics & Control Systems business in 2009. Prior to 2001, Patrick was a Team Leader and Project Manager of SWX, the Swiss stock exchange (now SIX Swiss Exchange).
Patrick Brunschwig holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and Economics from the University of Zurich, Switzerland.
Peter Neurath, VP Nearshore Center
Peter Neurath has been with Whitestein Technologies since its inception in January 1999. From 1998 to 2000, Peter served as Business Unit Manager of Aitecon s.r.o. (now Whitestein Technologies s.r.o.). He was responsible for the management of various projects for technology products in the area of distributed systems and object-oriented databases. Prior to that, he held positions of software engineer and project manager in the same company. Since 2000, Peter Neurath works as a lecturer at the faculty of mathematics, physics, and informatics of Comenius University, Bratislava, concentrating on the areas of architecture of distributed systems and project management.
Peter Neurath holds a Master's degree in informatics and artificial intelligence from Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovak Republic.
Monique Calisti, PhD, Head of Market Development
Monique Calisti joined Whitestein Technologies in 2002 as Vice President of Research and Development. From 2006 to 2009, as Head of Innovation and Technology Relations, Monique was responsible for strategic planning and development of technological innovations as well as establishment of high level partnerships across various industry domains. Since 2010, Monique is responsible for the assessment of marketing opportunities and target markets and generation of leads for sales as Whitestein's Head of Market Development. From 1997 to March 2002, Monique was research scientist and lecturer at the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology of Lausanne (EPFL). Her main area of activity covered coordination and negotiation techniques between distributed software agents controlling distinct resources. During her time at EPFL, Monique has attended the Doctoral School in Telecommunication Systems (1997) and obtained a postgraduate diploma in multi-agent systems (1999).
Monique is member of the Board of Directors for the Autonomic Communication Forum, ACF, and has been acting as Director of the IEEE FIPA standardization body for several years.
Monique Calisti holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Swiss Federal Institute of Technology of Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland and a Ph.D. in Telecommunications from Università degli Studi di Bologna, Italy.
